For an efficient initial consultation at the Bersenev Medical Center, we recommend that you prepare the following documents and information:
Required documents for the adult ward

To make your initial consultation as effective as possible, we recommend reviewing the list of documents and information regarding preparation that you may need. This will allow the doctor to assess the patient’s condition and determine the next steps for diagnosis and treatment.
What should you prepare before your initial consultation?
Required for patient registration and identification.
Gather any available medical documents related to your health—discharge summaries from medical facilities, outpatient records, and others
- MRI / CT
- X-ray
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Laboratory Tests
Before the initial consultation, the patient must fill out a questionnaire developed by the medical center’s doctors. It contains questions that will help the doctor make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe treatment.
What happens during the initial consultation?
During the consultation, the doctor:
Gathers information about complaints and symptoms, analyzes the medical records provided
Performs a thorough neurological examination
Formulates a preliminary diagnosis
Prescribes a treatment plan or additional diagnostic tests
What do you need to know before your appointment?
Consultations last up to 60 minutes on average.
If necessary, additional diagnostic procedures are performed right during the consultation.
The more information you provide, the more accurate the recommendations will be.
Consultative opinion following the appointment:

Recommendations for Additional Tests
Treatment Plan
Important information before your visit:
If you have symptoms of an acute respiratory viral infection, a fever, or any other illness, please reschedule your appointment.
It’s a good idea to prepare for some of the questions on the questionnaire at home:
- Focus on the main points of what’s bothering you. If you’re experiencing pain, the doctor needs to know: what kind of pain it is, how severe it is, where and how often it occurs, and what triggers it.
- Make a list of the medications you’re taking (note the name, dose, and frequency of use).
- If you experience fluctuations in blood pressure, prepare a chart showing your morning and evening blood pressure readings over the course of a week.
